Children’s Harbor Montessori School is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We are chartered as an educational corporation by the NYS Board of Regents, and licensed by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Bureau for Child Care. We are also an Associate Member School with the American Montessori Society (AMS).
Our school follows the Montessori philosophy of education with a large emphasis on the arts. We encourage children to be creative in every way. We focus on “the process not the product”.
We provide services such as Early Drop off and Extended Hours. Our programs include a Transitional Toddler Class (ages 2-3) and Pre-Primary classes that include Universal Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten (ages 3-6). Our school also offers an 8 week summer camp.
Children’s Harbor Montessori School has been dedicated to educating children since 1976. We offer a warm, talented and well-trained teaching staff. Each teacher has trained at an accredited AMS Teacher Training Program. These high training standards combined with many years tenure with our school provide a stable and nurturing environment.
